How to earn

You can join Omantel’s Makasib program directly from your phone or by visiting our website.

1. Omantel App:

Go to Apple Store or Play store and download Omantel App and enjoy managing your Makasib account from the app.

2. From your phone:

USSD: Dial *224# and follow the instructions.

SMS: Makasib or send M to: 91224

3. From Omantel’s Website:

Visit www.omantel.om and click login to “Online Services"

Makasib Points earning is based on your tier level:

• Members in Al-Ufuq Tier get 2 Makasib Points for every 100 Baisa spent
• Members in Platinum Tier get 2 Makasib Points for every 100 Baisa spent
• Members in Gold Tier get 1.5 Makasib Points for every 100 Baisa spent
• Members in Silver Tier get 1 Makasib Point for every 100 Baisa Spent
• Status points earning will remain 1 point for every 100 Baisa Spent regardless of your Tier

To redeem your Makasib points directly:

Through the Omantel App:

Click on Makasib in the App.

Select for the available rewards or click on the browse all rewards to see all the catalogue and start redeeming.

From your phone:

USSD: Dial *224*3# and follow the instructions.

From the Omantel Website:

Visit www.omantel.om and click login to "Online Services" select Makasib and start redeeming from the rewards catalogue.

To check your Balance after redeeming:

• On-net Minutes *120*1#
• International Minutes *120*2#
• Top-up *120*3#
• Data Usage *120*5#
• Note: The short codes are only for Prepaid (Hayyak).

Makasib Points

Makasib points are the points you use to redeem with from the rewards catalogue. You can start redeeming your points for as little as 300 Makasib points!

Points earning is based on your tier level:

• Members in Al-Ufuq Tier get 2 Makasib Points for every 100 Baisa Spent
• Members in Platinum Tier get 2 Makasib Points for every 100 Baisa Spent
• Members in Gold Tier get 1.5 Makasib Points for every 100 Baisa Spent
• Members in Silver Tier get 1 Makasib Point for every 100 Baisa Spent
• Makasib points are valid for 2 years.
